Our students
At Art for Life, we warmly welcome students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities who have additional needs. We believe everyone has something special to offer and create a safe, encouraging environment where each person can express themselves, develop new skills, and grow in confidence.
One of the greatest privileges of what we do is getting to know these wonderful individuals, celebrating their unique personalities, and watching their creativity and confidence blossom through art.

Joanne McGimpsey
Joanne is a talented artist at Art for Life, known for her beautifully detailed drawings and paintings. She takes her time with each piece, working patiently and thoughtfully, with a careful and precise approach.
Although Joanne is deaf, she communicates with confidence and welcomes visitors with wonderful enthusiasm. Joanne’s warmth, positivity, and openness help create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere in the studio.
